Pedestrian Bridge Groundbreaking This Friday

This is an exciting week for Greystone Village. Yesterday we celebrated a significant milestone with the start of construction on our River Terraces condo tower. Please visit our Facebook Page for photos – more will be added soon.

This Friday October 6th the Ottawa East Community Association along with MP Catherine McKenna, MPP Yasir Naqvi, and Mayor Jim Watson will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking to mark the official start of construction of the Rideau Canal crossing that will connect Fifth Avenue in the Glebe with Clegg Street in Old Ottawa East. The pedestrian bridge will give Greystone Village residents convenient access to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment — without the need to find parking.

The ceremony will take place at 10:30am on Friday October 3rd at the Rideau Canal Pathway and Fifth Avenue. For more information please contact the Community Activities Group of Ottawa East (CAG) at info@OttawaEastCAG.ca.
